Do I Need A Mixer/Preamp To Get Better Audio? Part 4

By Paul Terpstra | October 6, 2017

It appears the JuicedLink amplifiers are no longer available. We received an order for one of these amplifiers and couldn’t reach JuicedLink to place the order.

While contacting them, I saw an online post saying the company was being sued for patent infringement. The author speculated that the owner closed the company instead of facing a protracted legal battle with a large corporation.

The JuicedLink amplifier was not inexpensive, but it was an excellent product and a great way to bring a microphone into a mirrorless or DSLR camera. We are genuinely saddened to see this company go away. Hopefully, Robert will find another product to bring to market.

We won’t be comparing JuicedLink andBeachTek Micro Proside-by-side. If, however, we hear of JuicedLink’s return, we will let you know.
