Parabolic mics seen in episode of “The Black List”

By Paul Terpstra

If you watched the April 25th episode of “The Black List” (Ian Garvey #13: Conclusion – Episode 19 of Season 5) you saw very brief glimpses of two our parabolic microphones.  One of our KLOVER MiK 16 parabolic mics, and a Sound Shark, were used as a prop as the good guys listen in on the bad guys.

Unfortunately, you won’t get very good results listening through a windshield but other than that they did a good job of using them in a realistic manner.   The prop manager asked to use the same units while filming the pilot for the new “Get Christie Love” so keep your eye out for that pilot later this year.
